Arthur is a big new tank engine who came to Sodor to shunt trucks and pull freight. He is excited to work for Sir Topham Hatt and had a good attitude when Thomas blemished his famously spotless record. He was bought to shunt trucks and haul freight, but then was transferred to the Fishing Village line, on which he enjoys working.
